What's Next for Deadlands Dark Ages?

For the next few weeks the Pinnacle team focuses on final playtesting, editing, and layout while waiting for Kickstarter to collect pledges. Until the funds are deposited from Kickstarter, we cannot deliver anything.

If you haven't already, please make an account using your Kickstarter email at PEGINC.COM, or if you already have an account using a different email, shoot us a reminder of your KS email and your PEG email so we can link your pledge to your PEG account. 

We'll post an Update on the Kickstarter when the first PDFs are ready to deliver and once the pledge manager is live. Be sure to watch your email for Kickstarter notifications, or keep checking back on the campaign page. We release files through PEGINC.COM for proofing and playtesting, gather feedback, then release final files through PEGINC and DriveThruRPG. During the playtesting and file finalization process we'll open the pledge manager so you can upgrade your pledge and pay for shipping closer to the delivery date.

You Just Never Know...

Day one and you fantastic folks made the Dark Ages dawn brighter than we ever dreamed.

You'd think after over FORTY crowdfunding campaigns—here and elsewhere—we'd know exactly how things are gonna go. You'd think we'd be calm, cool, and collected, and have everything ready weeks if not months in advance.

I hate to break the illusion, but you'd be wrong. While most of the team are cool as cucumbers, some of us...well, me... are always nervous and still making changes right at the last minute. What did we get wrong? What did we not think about? Are those graphics blurry on your screen? What can we add that will make this a no-brainer for our fans? Is the timing right? What's the "temperature" out there?

Then you launch and you hope. Today is one of those days where we seem to have got it right. We're on track for one of our biggest and best efforts ever. We knew a new Deadlands spin-off by John Goff would be exciting and fun to play, but communicating that is always the trick, and today the stars aligned because YOU made it happen. Please keep talking about the "cool factor" in this campaign so others find out about it, too!
